The Soul Food Cafe'

The Cafe' menu has a variety of selections for the entire family from children to adults to explore, learn, and grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Christian faith and in their relationship with God. The Cafe' also offers a staffed Nursery on Sunday mornings.


Children's Sunday Selections

10:30 - 11:30 am

Infants and Toddlers

A staffed nursery for the youngest children in a clean, safe, and secure setting is an essential part of our ministry to families.

This gives parents the opportunity to participate in classes and the worship service knowing that their children are lovingly cared for.

Brandi Sabatino coordinates this ministry.

Shakers and Movers

Pre-School Children ages 3-5   This experience uses a child's natural curiosity to discover and learn of God's presence in their world.

Teacher - Dianne Baer

Prime Time

Children Ages 6-8  Teacher Jenni Armer leads children as they explore the Bible and see what it means to live what we believe through the lives of Bible characters.

iExplore

Ages 9-11 Kelly Cohoon uses a variety of learning activities to help pre-teens experience what it means to live as followers of Jesus Christ.

Trading Places

A team ministry approach seeking to develop teens into mature Christians by addressing the challenges teens face in ways that connect with this generation. Service opportunities, camping adventures, and mission trips are possibilities for them to explore.

Phil Klingler oversees this selection, which meets in the Youth Room.


Sunday Morning Adult Entree's

9:15 - 10:10 am

Bible Basics - Where is it? How do I find it? What does it relate to everything else? There questions and more swirl through our minds when we are just getting acquainted with the Bible. This class provides an introductory survey to the Bible. It will eliminate the confusion and help you develop a sense of awareness and understanding of the Bible. Pastor Gary teaches this class, which meets in the Fellowship Hall.

 A small group format gives participants the opportunity to ask questions, share insights, and discoveries that will help us develop our abibility to understand the Bible. 

God's Prophetic Blueprint - This class explores Biblical teaching and prophecy concerning the future. In the midst of the global economic and political uncertainty - there is value in understanding the events preparing the way for Christ's return.

Jim Stoll leads this class, which meets in the Chapel.

Singing God's Praise - Leading People in Worship

Serving as the Worship Team Leader, Barb Jermeay, provides leadership in developing the Worship Team's ability to lead the congregation in praise and worship.

The Worship Teams meets in the Sanctuary.
